Your Personal European unionTo succeed the European union has to innovate more. Our problem is not to innovate. Our problem is in knowing what to innovate. For you and me the most essential thing is our own personal life. Why not collect around us a team of people similar to us from up to every EU country.

If you are not familiar with the Personal EU initiative, please join the Personal EU site now. Browse through it carefully and think all the time just about yourself.

After that I hope to meet you here again. Your comments and ideas are important, beacause YOU are the union.

Innovative interactivity!

An European public-private consortium is teaming up to develop next-generation technology to allow older people live independent life at home.

The project will have two goals: to develop new ways of integrating assistive technology, telecare and telehealth solutions into users’ homes to provide assistance; and to investigate the motor, sensory and cognitive difficulties experienced by older people and the best vision, voice or sensory-based means of communicating with users.

Technology communicating with humans? Old people living all alone by them selves? Pity.

I’d be happy to bring my Personal EU philosophy into this project to guarantee, that the development doesn’t lead to an era where people just communicate WITH technology – when they should interact with eachothers UTILIZING technology.

Innovative interactivity, between older EU people, too!
